Welcome to TSS Nails!
My journey into handmade products actually started long before nail polish. For about 18 years, I had been creating handmade soaps and bath products. I loved being able to take an idea, experiment with it, and turn it into something beautiful that people could enjoy.
Then I noticed my daughter was buying a LOT of nail polish! 💅
Since I was already a crafter, I started wondering...
“Could we make our own?”
And that's exactly what we decided to do.
What began as a question quickly became a new creative adventure for the two of us. We spent countless hours researching, experimenting, testing colors and formulas, and learning everything we could about making nail polish.
It wasn't always easy, but we loved the challenge. And after lots of testing, we finally felt ready to share what we'd created.
💅 TSS Nails was officially launched in August 2017!
The name TSS has a special meaning, too.
I had already been using the name Soothing Soul for my handmade soap and bath products. When we started creating nail polish, I wanted to carry that connection into our new adventure.
So TSS became short for “The Soothing Soul.”
What started with handmade soaps, a daughter who loved nail polish, and a mother's curiosity has grown into TSS Nails—a small business built around creativity, color, and handmade products.

For me, handmade means more than simply making a product.
It means taking the time to create, experiment, improve, and pay attention to the little details. It means being proud of what you're putting into someone's hands.
And most importantly, it means that every purchase supports a real small business and the person behind it.
